A typical Long Island purchase closes about 60 to 90 days after the contract is signed. Here’s what happens along the way.
- Contract reviewI review and negotiate the contract of sale before you sign anything.
- Title & searchesWe order title, review the report and make sure any liens or open permits are resolved before you close.
- Mortgage commitmentI track your lender’s conditions so the commitment arrives on time.
- Closing dayI review every figure on the settlement statement and attend the closing with you.
